Awal tahun 2011 Mr Ginting mengeluarkan sebuah lagu yang berjudul ” Rapper Pelajar” lagu ini terinspirasi pada saat sesudah ulangan semesteran SMA desember 2010 lalu ,lagu tersebut berisi pesan-pesan positif dan untuk mengingatkan kita ke pelajaran baik yang belum,sedang maupun yang sudah kita pelajari dan dimaksudkan untuk kita mengingat kata-kata yang mungkin sulit dihafal seperti yang dialami sendiri oleh saya,mudah-mudahan dengan mendengar lagu ini kita bisa lebih cepat menghafal beberapa kata walaupun sedikit.

Di dalam lagu tersebut juga menunjukkan status saya yang di satu sisi sebagai pelajar dan disatu sisi sebagai rapper,tetapi dengan prinsip "Belajar tetap belajar,berkarya tetap berkarya".

What’s  rap?
Tergantung pada siapa yang kamu tanya dan dari generasi yang mana”rap” akan ditempatkan dalam ndalam usahanya untuk membohongimu.Pada 70-an rap adalah kata-kata yang digunakan oleh seseorang ketika dia berusaha mempengaruhimu,khususnya digunakan oleh seorang cowok dalam usaha-usaha persuasifnya untuk menarik perhatian secara sexual dari seorang  cewek.Sekarang rap bermakna sebaga rentetan kalimat yang berirama dengan beat-beat music.Rap adalah salah satu unsur dalam kultur hip-hop.Dan karena unsur-unsur lainnya yang mecakup DJ-Ing,breakdancing,dan graffiti tidak meluas sebagaimana hip-hop,maka rap dan hip-hop telah saling dipertukarkan selama bertahun-tahun.
Istilah rap tidak selalu digunakan untuk menggambarkan aktifitas ini.Aksi mengucapkan kalimat dengan beat musik disebut MC-ing.Istilah Rap agaknya berhubungan dengan hip-hop dengan dirilisnya dua rekaman pada sekitar tahun 1979.Rekaman pertama adalah King Tim III(Personality Jock)yang dianggap sebagai rekaman hip-hop yang pertama.Rekaman ini dirilis oleh fatback Band yang bermarkas di Brooklyn.Lagunya sendiri dikatakan terinspirasi oleh gaya-gaya rapalan lama dari para DJ radio kulit hitam seperti Jocko Henderson,Jack The Rapper,dan Daddy O,serta gaya-gaya rapalan dari para DJ klub seperti DJ Hollywood.Rekaman yang kedua adalah Rapper’S Delight dari Sugar Hill Gang.Aku tidak cukup yakin bagaimana Sugar Hill mucul dengan istilah “rap”.Beberapa orang mengatakan bahwa ini adalah olok-olok tentang media mainstream yang kemudian ditakjubkan oleh fenomena tersebut.Beberapa orang lainnya mengatakan bahwa istilah “rap” diciptakan oleh para tetua dalam komunitas kulit hitam yang melihat kesamaan antara para hip-hopper muda dari era 70-an dan generasi awal manipulator kata di mana istilah rap mulai digunakan.
Ironisnya,di dalam  lagu Rapper’s Delight terdapat frase yang dibawakan oleh aktivis kulit hitam H.Rap Brown.Pada 1969 dia menulis sebuah buku yang berjudul Die Nigger Die.Buku ini bicara perihal pendekatan militannya untuk mengatasi derita kaum kulit hitam Amerika.Di dalam bukunya dia bicara tentang bagaimana dia mendapat julukannya yaitu “Rap”.Dia menjelaskan bahwa ketika dia tumbuh dewasa di Louisiana,orang-orang banyak yang bermain game yang disebut The Dozens.Game ini berrtujuan untuk menghancurkan orang lain melalui kata-kata.Dia menuliskan bahwa di lingkungannya pada awal era 60-an game itu berkembang.Ada sekitar 50 orang yang berkumpul untuk bersaing satu sama lain dalam game rentetan kata-kata yang disebut The Dozens.Orang-orang saling mengatai ibu mereka.Pemenangnya ditentukan oleh reaksi penonton.Rap Brown mendapatkan julukan “rap” karena dia dianggap sebagai salah satu pemain yang hebat.
Dalam bukunya,H.Rap Brown memberikan beberapa contoh rapalan yang diucapkan ketika berbanding dalam game The Dozens :

”HipHop declaration of peace”Universal Zulu Nation

Universal Zulu Nation adalah organisasi HipHop Internasional, yang dibentuk oleh Afrika bambaata.
Deklarasi Damai HipHop telah disampaikan kepada Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa pada tanggal 16 Mei 2001. Itu di tanda tangani oleh berbagai organisasi seperti: Temple Of Hip Hop, Pita International, UNESCO dan juga dengan 300 aktivis Hip-Hop, pelopor dan delegasi PBB.
Di tempat pertama dokumen ini mengakui Hip-Hop sebagai budaya internasional perdamaian dan kemakmuran. Ini juga merupakan seperangkat prinsip yang menyarankan semua Hip-Hoppers tentang bagaimana mempertahankan karakter damai Hip Hop Kulture dan membentuk perdamaian di seluruh dunia.
Selain deklarasi ini dimaksudkan untuk menunjukkan Hip-Hop sebagai fenomena positif yang tidak memiliki kesamaan dengan citra negatif Hip Hop sebagai sesuatu yang merusak generasi muda dan mendorong mereka untuk melanggar hukum. KRS One, Pop Guru Fabel, Afrika Bambaataa, Ralph Mc Daniels dan HarryAllen adalah beberapa orang yang memiliki bagian mereka dalam menciptakan deklarasi
Ini Deklarasi Hiphop Damai panduan Hiphop Kulture menuju kebebasan dari kekerasan, dan menetapkan saran dan perlindungan bagi keberadaan dan pengembangan masyarakat Hiphop internasional. Melalui prinsip-prinsip Deklarasi ini Hiphop Damai kita, Hiphop Kulture, mendirikan sebuah yayasan Kesehatan, Cinta, Kesadaran, Kekayaan, perdamaian dan kemakmuran bagi diri kita sendiri, anak-anak kita dan anak-anak anak-anak mereka, selamanya. Untuk klarifikasi makna Hiphop dan tujuan, atau ketika niat Hiphop dipertanyakan, atau ketika perselisihan antara pihak-pihak muncul berkenaan Hiphop, Hiphoppas akan memiliki akses ke saran dari dokumen ini, Deklarasi Hiphop Perdamaian, sebagai pedoman, saran dan perlindungan .
Di dalam “Declaration of peace” ini disebutkan point-point dan prinsip seorang “HipHopas”,

1. hiphop adalah bagian dari kesadaran kami dalam menyampakan kebebasan berexpesi. secara umum itu tertuang dlm elemen2 yg kami anut yaitu Breakin, Emcceing, graffiti art, DJing, Beatboxing, Street fashion, Street Language, Street knowledge dan Street Entrepeunerialism, kapanpun dan dimanapun dan (jika ada) elemen di masa mendatang (yg baru) itu akan menjadi manifestasi dari kultur hiphop Deklarasi ini bersifat damai dan akan digunakan untuk kebijakan ekspresi ,Elemen dan lifestyle tersebut.

2. HipHop kultur menghormati kehormatan dan kesucian hidup tanpa diskriminasi dan saling curiga, “Hiphoppas” harus memikirkan perkembangan dalam kehidupan (Development of life), sebelum atau sesudah adanya keputusan individual untuk merusak atau berusaha untuk merubah kelestarian alam (nature)

3. HipHop culture menghormati dan menaati setiap pemahaman dan hukum di tiap Negara dan state (US only) dan juga institusi, siapapun itu. HipHop tidak ada kaitannya (irresponsibly) dalam setiap pelanggaran hukum dan aturan.

4. HipHop adalah sebuah istilah untuk menggambarkan kesadaran kebebasan kolektif kita, seperti kesadaran akan cara hidup dan kesadaran kita akan pengaruh kita di masyarakat, terutama pada anak-anak. dan selamanya akan menjaga hak hak dalam kesehjateraan baik dalam pikiran maupun perbuatan. hiphop kulture mendukung persaudaraan untuk laki2, perempuan, anak2 dan keluarga. kami dengan sengaja tidak menodai kehormatan yang membahayakan reputasi dan martabat kami, orang tua dan anak-anak kami.

5. Memiliki kemampuan untuk mendefinisikan, membela dan mendidik diri kita sendiri dan mendorong untuk pengembangan, kemajuan, perlindungan dan promosi untuk menuju perdamaian dan kemakmuran, serta mengembangkan diri kita melalui pengetahuan dg tujuan membina skill kemampuan alami kita

6. HipHop culture tidak memandang dari hubungan keluarga, perorangan, acara, atau siapapun yang tidak medukung element dan perkembangan HipHop ataupun Elementnya akan dihormati (respect) selama dia membiarkan HipHop ada. HipHop culture tidak berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan yang jelas2 menghancurkan produktivitas dan kedamaian yang ada, “HipHopas” diharapkan memiliki keberanian untuk meng-initiate dan/atau mendukung perdagangan secara fair (jujur) di semua negosiasi dan transaksi.

7. Esensi HipHop adalah Lebih dari (beyond) Entertainment, Element2 HipHop mungkin bergerak berdasarkan materi, kekuasaan, respect,kehormatan, informasi, makanan atau sumber daya yang lain, namun walaupun begitu HipHop dan kulturnya TIDAK DAPAT DIBELI,is not for sale, hiphop tidak dapat ditransferkan kepada seseorang berdasarkan imbalan tertentu, HIPHOP Bukan product. HipHop adalah prinsip yang tak terhitung dg materi (priceless principless), yang kami ciptakan dari sumber daya kami (self- empowerment)

8. korporasi, perusahaan, organisasi profit maupun non profit baik secara perseorangan maupun berkelompok yang berpenghasilan sesuaidengan kegunaannya, intrepetasi dan exploitasi dengan memakai nama Hiphop serta ekspressi dan Terminologi HipHop, diharapkan untukmemberi “commision” atau mempekerjakan full time atau part time seorang ahli kultural hiphop untuk mnjawab setiap pertanyaan-pertanyaan sensitif terkait masalah kultural dan prinsipil ttg hiphop yang menyangkut ke dalam organisasi, pekerjaan atau semacamnya.

9. 3 mei adalah Hari Rap dunia, “HipHopas” diharapkan melakukan sesuatu sesuai bakat yang dia punya untuk pembangunan dan pelayanan kepada komunitas ataupun lingkungan tempat dia bernaung.setiap minggu ke 3 di bulan mei adalah hari appresiasi HipHop selama masa itu diharapkan “hiphopas” untuk menghormati para leluhur (ancestor) direfleksikan dengan kontribusi terhadap budaya setempat dengan menghormati dengan Elemen ataupun kultur HipHop. November adalah “HipHop history Month” selama masa ini diharap “hiphopas” dpt belajar, mengerti dan menghormati sejarah lahirnya HipHop

10. HipHopas diharapkan dapat menjalin Hubungan yang dilandasi rasa percaya, cinta, kesetaraan dan respect terhadap sesama.HipHopas diharapkan tidak curang, menyakiti atau menipu Teman sendiri.

11. Komunitas HipHop adalah bagian dari komunitas internasional yang dilandasi kesadaran untuk terbuka atas semua ras, agama, suku dibangun atas fondasi komunikasi atas pemikiran dan kerja terbaiknya, komunitas hiphop adalah kesatuan yang terdiri dari individu yang Multi – skill, multi- kultural, multi-agama, multi-ras yang bersatu untuk pembangun dan pedamaian dunia.

12. HipHop kultur tidak pernah bermaksud atau berniat utk berpartisipasi dalam setiap kegiatan yg mengandung kebencian,penipuan, kejahatan kapanpun dimanapun, saat itu juga jika kebencian berkobar, hiphop kultur anjurkan bawalah perang itu pada dirimu sendiri. Dia yang dengan sengaja / berniat untuk menodai Declaration of Peace akan secara otomatis ter-reject (dari universal zulu nation)

13. HipHop kultur menolak segala tindakan tidak dewasa dengan menyulut kekerasan tak beralasan dan selalu berusaha mencari jalan diplomatis strategi non-violent (anti kekerasan) adalah jawaban atas semua perselisihan, HipHopas dianjurkan untuk memaafkan dan memaklumi sebelum melakukan tindakan balasan. perang adalah jawaban terakhir saat bukti telah ada dan jalan diplomasi berkali2 telah gagal.

14, HipHopas harus memerangi kemiskinan, berteriak lantang atas ketidak adilan, HipHop kultur mendukung dialog atas nama kemanusiaan.

15. HipHopas belajar dan mengikuti “the way of nature” serta tahu kedudukan dan posisi kita di planet ini, diharapkan juga mampu untuk melestarikan lingkungan dan setiap makhluk hidup didalamnya.

16. pioneer, ketua, legenda, guru, aktivis HipHop tidak boleh disalahgunakan setiap Quote dan ucapannya, Tidak ada orang yang boleh mengaku menjadi pioneer, legenda dalam hiphop sebelum dia bisa membuktikan kontribusinya dalam dunia HipHop.

17. HipHopas dianjurkan untuk selalu berbagi sumber daya.

To short,E40,semuanya saudara berkulit hitam yang menciptakan hip-hop dan berasal dari unsur funk adalah para hip-hopper.Electro Funk yang tamp[ak dalam sound album Planet Rock yang sekarang dianggap sebagai “Miami bass sound”juha termasuk hip-hop.Sound GoGo yang kamu dengar dari Washington DC adalah Hip-Hop.Sound “new jack swing”yang tampak dalam music Teddy Riley adalah campuran antara R&B dan Hip-hop.So,hip-hop telah berkembang menjadi sound-sound dan kesempatan yang berbeda-beda.Orang-orang juga harus mengakui bahwa dari music hip-hop,khususnya electro funk,muncul house music dan freestyle music,dengan sekian banyak hip-hopper kita yang berasal dari Puerto Rico. Freestyle music sesungguhnya mucul dari albu kamu melihatm Planet Rock.Jika kamu melihat kaset-kaset dengan Miami bass sound, maka semua itu berdasar pada album Planet Rock.Semuanya berdasar pada electro funk yang muncul dari music hip-hop.

Hip-hop telah diuji-ucobakan dengan gaya-gaya msuik yang berbeda dana ada banyak orang yang sekian lama melakukan perubahan berbea dengan hip-hop.Orang-orang yang menenteng kaset-kaset funky telah bisa mendorong  muncul,maka kamu mendapatkan semua rekaman dengan sound electro funk.

Ketika kamu menyaksikan show-show Doug E.Fresh dan lagu Lu Di Da Di,maka banyak rapper yang menirunya,Ketika Eric B mucul dengan I Know U Got Soul,maka cara semacam itu diikuti oleh Run DMC dan Wu Tang Clan.Orang orang ini membawa perubahan dalam music hip-hop.Sayangnya,sekarang orang-orang yang menciptakan hip-hop,maksudnya orang yang meciptakan hip-hop maksudnya orang-orang kulit hitam dan Latin,sudah tidak bisa mengontrolnya lagi…

Sebagai salah seorang pionir yang dikenal karena kemampuan mencampurkan berbagai musik,maka aku mencampurkan apa pun.Dari Billy Squire ke Mihael Jackson keThin Lizzy ke Sly And The Family Stone ke Gln Miller ke Tschochosky.

Ketika aku meletakkan dasar-dasar ini,kuncinya adalahh bahwa kami harus bisa mengambil hamper semua hal yang musical sepanjang hal tersebut mengandung beat,Jadi,pelantun yang melantunkannya bisa menyingkatnya.Siapa yang bilang bahwa yang berkembang di Florida dan Los Angeles itu bukan hip-hop?Ada lagu-lagu yang dimainkan oleh Bambaataa yang hingga sekarang tidak aku kenali.Lagu itu sangat funky.Beberapa lagu itu sangat inigin aku ketahui.Aku terkejut.Kamu lagu Apache misalnya,yang dianggap menhadi salah satu tema utama hip-hop.itu adalah lagu-lagu orang kulit putih.The Incredible Bongo Rock Band adalah orang kulit putih.Di sana ada satu orang yang berkulit hitam yaitu King Erickson,seorang pemain perkusi.

Siapapun yang mengatakan ‘ini bukan hip-hop’atau ‘itu bukan hip-hop’ adalah salah.Pertanyaan itu bukanlah cara tentang bagaimana formula hip-hop diletakkan.Hip-Hop mucul untuk orang-orang yang akan melanjutkannya untuk mendapatkan apa-puntentu saja dengan melantunkannya.

Menurutku ,Hip-Hop itu adalah bentuk seni mencakup Dj-ing(Cuttin and scartchin),Mc-ing atau rappin;breakdancing,dan seni graffiti.Seperti kita ketahui sekarang,bentuk-bentuk seni tersebut bermula di kawasan South Bronx,New York,pada sekitar pertengahan 1970an.Hip-hop  berkembang pesat di tengah subkultur komunitas kulit hitam dan Puerto Rico di New York dan sekarang meluas ke berbagai penjuru dunia.Dari perspektif sosiologis,hip-hop menjadi salah satu kontributor utama yang ikut menghambat rentetan kekerasan geng dengan merujuk pada kenyataan bahwa banyak orang dewasa yang mengalihkan kemarahan dan agresi mereka ke dalam hip-hop.

            Breakdancing,gaya tarian yang penuh warna dan akrobatik yang mencakup headspin,backspin,dan anak-anak berbakat yang ingin seperti Kirk Thompson(jauh sebelum atlet oliampiade Kirk Thompson menemukannya),berakar pada bentuk seni bela diri Afrika yang dikenal dengan nama Capoera.Bentuk tarung semacam itu digunakan oleh para budak pemberontakan yang dibawa ke Brasil.Tak seorang pung yang benar-benar tahu siapa penari breakdance pertama di New York.Namun sekelompok anak muda yang dikenal dengan istilah “b-boys” dan anggota anggota orisinil dari suatu organisasi yang disebut Zulu Nation telah membuat tarian ini populer.Pada sekitar masa yang sama,breakdancing mulai ramai dilakukan di jalanan kota New York.Gaya tarian dari komunitas-komunitas kulit hitam di California yang dikenal dengan nama Pop-Locking yang meliputi gerakan gerakan strutting,moonwalking,dan waving,juga mulai mendapatkan bentuknya.Bahkan film-film seperti Beat Street dan Breaking telah ikut mempopulerkan tipe tarian baru ini.

            Rappin’,sebagaimana yang kita kenal sekarang,aslinya disebut MC-ing.Rappin’ mempunyai akar dari bentuk seni Jamaika yang dikenal dengan istilah toasting.Artis-artis seperti James Brown,The Last Poets,,dan Gil Scot Heron bersama dengan rapalan rapalan lama dan jargon-jargon ala penjara berkembang selama bertahun-tahun dan dipopulerkan oleh aktivis kulit hitam Black yaitu H.Rap Brown yang telah mempengaruhi rap sehingga menjadi seperti dalam bentuknya yang sekarang.Rap timbul dan tenggelam dalam berbagai nama selama bertahun-tahun dalam komunitas-komunitas kulit hitam di negeri ini.

            Dj-ing(Cuttin’dan scratchin) adalah manipulasi rekaman terhadap groove yang khusus sehingga menghasilkan suara-suara yang aneh.Dj-ing ditemukan baik oleh Grandmaster Flash maupun Grand Wizard Theodore,dua DJ populer dari Bronx.Herbie Hancock dengan lagunya Rock It dan Bufallo Gals dari Malcolm MacLaren telah ikut pula membantu mempopulerkan bentuk seni ini di luar kawasan New York.
